Mauldin brings over 25 years of financial advisory experience to his role as founder and principal of Greenville Capital. Prior to launching Greenville Capital, Mauldin served as senior advisor for a privately owned, fee-only SEC registered investment advisory firm in Greenville. He served on the firm’s investment oversight committee and its leadership team.

Throughout his career, Mauldin has concentrated his practice in the areas of portfolio management and holistic financial planning, with an emphasis on serving successful individuals and their families, non-profit/charitable organizations, and corporate retirement plans.  His expertise includes complex estate and trust planning, trust management, and collaboratively led comprehensive financial planning.

Mauldin has also held the roles of private banker, employee benefits consultant, and senior vice president in the trust and investment management divisions for both regional and financial institutions.

Mauldin maintains the professional designations of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Accredited Estate Planner®.  He is a graduate of Cannon Financial Institute Personal Trust School, and he holds memberships in the Greenville Estate Planning Council and the Financial Planning Association.  He is a graduate of Clemson University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in management.

In his free time, Mauldin enjoys running, Clemson football, gardening activities, and spending time with his wife, Caroline, and their two daughters.  Mauldin is a parishioner at Christ Church Episcopal in Greenville where he serves as board member of its Endowment Corporation.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and CFP® in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
